I wore this at the beach about 8 years ago, and sand got into the fabric. It looks prefer mold. I stretched the fabric and put it in water, and also tapped it, which removed a lot of it, and it's become less noticeable, but it's still there. The third photo shows the sand embedded in the fabric.
After that, my child wore it about 5 times in the pool when they were in upper elementary school. It can still be worn.
This is for those who prioritize design and don't mind the small details. You might also sample stretching the fabric yourself to remove the sand.
