The Asics "GEL-CUMULUS 16" is one of Asics' representative running shoes, achieving high cushioning and a lightweight, smooth ride. This model is a reconstruction that reflects Cecilie Bahnsen's philosophy of "Everyday Couture."
The upper features a delicate floral print layered with translucent mesh, and the toggle for adjusting the laces uses a custom-made flower shape. Elegant details are incorporated throughout. In designing these shoes, Cecilie pursued the contrast between femininity and masculinity. She combined a powerful silhouette with plush, transparent materials and delicate floral motifs to express softness, three-dimensionality, and the contrast of light and shadow.
